Daeva Pass

Aion 2's battle pass: seasonal passes tracked per character with a free track and a premium track bought with Quna, the global Season 1 pass Dawn Legion or Ishalgen Mercenary (1,500 Quna, Sep 30 to Dec 15, 2026), the shorter Prelude to Flight (1,000 Quna, Oct 28 to Dec 2, 2026), what the rewards contain, buying passes with Kina, and the Membership pass.

The Daeva Pass is the battle pass of Aion 2: a seasonal ladder of reward levels with a free track that anyone can claim and a premium track unlocked with Quna, the premium currency, tracked separately for each character. NC listed Passes alongside Memberships as convenience purchases when it presented the Korean and Taiwanese business model in September 2025, and its global notice of July 2026 keeps them, describing their rewards as a combination of cosmetics, items, upgrade materials and in-game currencies. On the global version the first season's pass, called Dawn Legion for the Elyos and Ishalgen Mercenary for the Asmodians, went on sale with Advanced Access on Sep 30, 2026. Society Of Gaming, playing in Taiwan, stresses that although passes can be bought with real money, in his experience players get them with Kina earned in play instead (Business Model).

How the passes work

At the Taiwanese launch in November 2025 there were two passes. Society Of Gaming showed the second unlocking when a character reaches level 20, the first costing 1,000 Quna and the second 1,500, and pointed out that the Quna could be had without spending money (Kina and Quna).

Each lasted about 56 days and ran to level 100. The free part gave materials such as life crystals and soul crystals, a little Kina and potions, while the paid part gave more, including enhancement stones.

Ynoki's global guide of August 2026, filmed in Taiwan, sums up the structure: Daeva Passes are Aion 2's version of seasonal battle passes, tracked per character so each alt progresses separately, with a free standard track and an optional premium track. Their rewards are mostly utility items, such as Odyle Energy, tickets for extra daily dungeon entries and Abyss stones that add an hour of Abyss time, and the premium track adds more of the same plus tokens for the Daeva Pass shop.

Anders, who played in Korea, adds that there are usually two passes at a time plus an event pass whose premium track is bought with Kina alone. The normal passes' premium tracks give tokens for that season's pass skins, typically animal outfits or casual looks such as a chef outfit (Cash Shop and Cosmetics).

Korea and Taiwan also run a catch-up pass. Ynoki describes the Warm Welcome pass, meant to support players moving from early to mid-game progression, as having two tracks both activated with Kina: one with weapons, accessories, Arcana cards and card upgrade materials, the other with utility items such as enchantment stones (Arcana).

The Membership pass

Subscribers get a pass of their own. On the Taiwanese servers, Ynoki shows, subscribing automatically activates a membership pass that levels up through tasks and pays out Kina, Shugo shop tokens, enhancement stones, soul crystals for the pet system, keys for hidden cubes, scrolls, Odyle Energy and a skin chest of skins otherwise found in play. Anders reports that in Korea this pass also adds two days to the 28-day Membership (Membership). NC's global Membership notice lists no pass among the Special Quai Membership's benefits.

The global Season 1 pass

NC's product notice of Sep 30, 2026 sets out the first global pass (NC, Sep 30, 2026). Elyos characters get Dawn Legion and Asmodians Ishalgen Mercenary, and both are sold in the in-game Subscribe menu from Sep 30 at 06:00 PDT until Dec 15, 2026 at 22:30 PST, with missions and rewards ending at that day's maintenance. The Basic track is free; the Premium track costs 1,500 Quna, adds five Resurrection Spiritstones on purchase, and can be bought once per character.

Pass EXP comes from missions: 60 for every ten monsters defeated, 30 for each successful gather or craft, 500 for clearing an Expedition or Transcendence dungeon or taking part in the Shugo Festival, 150 for a regional quest, 200 each for a Sealed Dungeon or a Stronghold, and 2,000 for attendance (Expedition Dungeons; Transcendence Dungeons; Daily Dungeons and Shugo Festa). A character can earn at most 50,000 Pass EXP a week. The pass has 100 levels, repeatable rewards after level 100, and levels can be bought for 50 Quna each.

Both tracks pay the same kinds of items, the premium track in larger amounts: Enhance Stones (2,000 a step on the free track, 5,000 on the premium), Amplify Stone Fragments, Kina (Bound) at 10,000 or 100,000 a step, Soul Crystals, manastones, soulstones and potions. The premium track also pays 2,000 Daeva Pass Shop Coins every five levels and 5,000 at level 100. The pass shop, open to Dec 15, sells Cozy Forest Shugo weapon skins for all eight weapon types at 14,000 coins, Shugo-themed armor and jewelry skins, a squirrel shoulder skin, and the pet Swift Lugi at 10,000 coins, each once per character (Cash Shop and Cosmetics). In the in-game shop mein-mmo priced the premium track's 1,500 Quna at about €19.

A second pass, Planet's Call, runs alongside it with 50 levels, a cap of 15,000 Pass EXP a week and a premium track of 1,000 Quna that adds 20 Battle Enhance Scrolls. Its missions reward enhancing, extracting and soul-binding gear and opening Hidden Cubes, and its rewards are mainly Odyle Energy, Unknown Fissure Challenge Tickets, Battle Enhance Scrolls and Resurrection Spiritstones. NC's notice says its missions and rewards end at the maintenance of Oct 27, 2026, although its sales period is given as running to Dec 27.

Prelude to Flight took its place the next day. NC's product notice of Oct 28, 2026 sells it in the Subscribe menu from 00:00 PDT on Oct 28 (08:00 CET) to the maintenance of Dec 1 (PST), Dec 2 at 09:00 CET, and it copies the shape of Planet's Call: 50 levels at 50 Quna each, repeatable rewards after level 50, a cap of 15,000 Pass EXP a week per character, a free Basic track and a 1,000 Quna Premium track that adds 20 Battle Enhance Scrolls (Bound), each once per character. Its missions pay 60 Pass EXP for every ten monsters, 30 for a gather or a craft, 300 for an Expedition or Transcendence clear, 10 for each gear enhancement or extraction, 20 for a soul binding and 50 for opening a Hidden Cube. The free track pays Small Odyle Energy on most levels, the premium track full Odyle Energy, and both pay Unknown Fissure and Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets, Battle Enhance Scrolls and Resurrection Spiritstones every few levels. The premium track also pays 1,500 Daeva Pass Shop Coins: Season 1 at levels 2, 7, 12 and so on to 47, 15,000 in all, enough for one Cozy Forest Shugo weapon skin at 14,000 coins (NC).

NC's notice points to its NC Probability Information page for the drop rates of probability-based items. On timing, NC told Wccftech in September that Korea has a new season about every three months "and the global version will be similar"; no second global season had been dated as of Sep 30, 2026 (Updates and Seasons).

Buying a pass with Kina

Society Of Gaming's guide of February 2026 lays out the route without real money: earn Kina in dungeons, where a high-difficulty run pays a million or more, or by crafting popular potions; exchange the Kina for Quna with other players, which requires a subscription to use the marketplace; and buy the pass with the Quna.

He then shows a premium track bought for 1,000 Quna that came from exchanged Kina rather than money, with the upper, free track open to every player and the lower track unlocked by the purchase.

His reasons for buying were narrow: the Resurrection Spiritstones on the premium tracks, which let a character revive on the spot in endgame dungeons, and Odyle Energy on the 1,500-Quna pass. He judged the enhancement stones and other rewards too small to matter.

Before NC published its global plan, aselon_eu speculated in February 2026 that the global version might let players buy passes directly with Kina instead of converting to Quna first. NC's notice of July 2026 kept Quna as the price of the premium track, and the global passes of Sep 30 cost 1,500 and 1,000 Quna.

What the rewards are worth

NC's global notice of July, as quoted by the fan site Aion2 Hub, describes pass rewards as a combination of cosmetics, items, upgrade materials and other in-game currencies. Aion2 Hub pointed out that this is broader than a cosmetics-only pass, and that NC had not said whether the upgrade materials affect gear progression, as its notice explicitly denies for shop consumables.

CrusherXGaming raised the same open question in August 2026: upgrade materials are not cosmetics, so whether the premium track touches gear power had not been answered. NC's reward table of Sep 30 shows what the global tracks hold: Enhance Stones and Amplify Stone Fragments on both tracks, in larger amounts on the premium one, alongside Kina (Bound), potions and Soul Crystals.

Players who have bought passes in Korea and Taiwan rate them low. Society Of Gaming, after more than 1,000 hours, called the passes totally worthless in August 2026: scrolls and a little energy, bought with Quna exchanged from Kina.

EPIC PLK advised skipping passes at the global launch, citing a creator with over 1,000 hours on the Korean servers who says their materials are soon outgrown, and suggested that Membership does more for a player's money.

Early reviewers read them differently. In the first week after launch kets and his games showed both passes full of items and materials for getting stronger faster and counted them as part of the game's pay-to-win, and KaidGames2 likewise listed the battle pass among the paid advantages (Controversies).

Named passes and the global version

According to the fan site Aion2 Hub's translated patch notes, the Korean service added a Daeva Pass called Alturadon's Horn, with energy and mission rewards, on May 6, 2026, and another, Moonlit Oasis, on Aug 26, 2026.

Six days before NC published the global passes, CrusherXGaming described them from the Korean model: bought per character rather than per account, with a standard track everyone can progress and a premium track bought with Quna, rewards that in Korea are mostly Odyle Energy, scrolls, instant-clear tickets and soul crystals, and a recent Korean premium track priced at 500 Quna.

For the global version, NC's notice of Jul 8, 2026 sold Daeva Passes per character, with a free Standard Track and a premium track priced in Quna, as Aion2 Hub reported. Passes were turned off during the open Launch Scale Test of Sep 17 and 18, 2026, along with the shop, Quna, memberships and every payment portal (Steam, Aug 26, 2026), and the first global passes went on sale on Sep 30.

How much does a Daeva Pass cost? On the global version the Season 1 premium track costs 1,500 Quna, about €19 in mein-mmo's reading of the in-game shop, and the shorter passes, Planet's Call and Prelude to Flight, cost 1,000 Quna each. At the Taiwanese launch the two passes cost 1,000 and 1,500 Quna. Quna costs US$5.99 for 400 up to US$59.99 for 4,000 on the PURPLE store.
